Key Qualifications:
- Valid California SLP license required
- Previous experience in school settings preferred, but strong clinical experience considered
- Ability to manage a diverse K-12 caseload and adapt interventions appropriately
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive learning atmosphere
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to a varied K-12 student population
- Conduct evaluations and screenings; develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with special education teams, teachers, and families
- Maintain thorough documentation and participate in IEP meetings
- Foster an encouraging, confidential environment for students’ growth
