Position Overview
We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide virtual speech and language services to K-12 students across Alabama. This is an urgent opportunity for a licensed professional passionate about helping students achieve communication success through teletherapy services.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in school settings, strong technology skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and support staff in a remote environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide virtual speech and language evaluations and therapy services.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals.
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and service logs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school personnel to support student outcomes.
- Utilize teletherapy platforms and digital resources effectively.
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed.
Requirements
- Active Alabama Speech-Language Pathologist License.
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Strong communication, organizational, and technology skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a school-based setting.
- Prior teletherapy experience.
- Familiarity with Alabama special education procedures and IEP processes.
- Experience serving diverse student populations.
