A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist skilled in telespeech services within an educational setting. This position is based in Wetumpka, AL, and focuses on delivering remote speech therapy support to students.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting virtual speech and language assessments and therapy sessions.
- Collaborating with educators and caregivers to support student communication development.
- Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies.
- Implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) through telepractice.
- Utilizing technology effectively to engage students in telespeech services.
Qualifications and experience sought:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist licensure.
- Experience providing teletherapy or telespeech services.
- Strong understanding of speech and language disorders in school-aged children.
- Proficiency with telecommunication platforms and digital tools for therapy.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
