Buffalo Creek Middle School, known for its newly appointed and inspiring principal, features a caseload of about 50 students receiving direct therapy services, in addition to consults for approximately 10 students. Most services focus on supporting low cognitive and behavioral needs. This site is structured as a four-day-a-week commitment, allowing for a balanced workload.
At Prine Elementary, you’ll join forces with an experienced on-site SLP and a talented part-time SLPA. The school’s diverse caseload includes intensive Pre-K, ASD, Integrated Pre-K, ESE Pre-K, and low cognitive classes, serving a group of roughly 95 students with an inclusive, supportive team approach.
Qualifications:
- Valid Florida Speech-Language Pathology license required
- Previous school-based SLP experience highly valued
- Demonstrated proficiency supporting students across a range of cognitive and behavioral needs
- Collaborative attitude and the ability to engage positively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Strong commitment to documentation and IEP compliance
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering direct and consultative therapeutic services within IEP/504 frameworks
- Creating individualized treatment plans aligned with student needs and educational goals
- Working closely with teachers, support staff, and family members
- Monitoring, documenting, and reporting progress
- Providing guidance and mentorship to support staff and therapy teams
