Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Bradenton, FL

Buffalo Creek Middle offers a four-day workweek, serving students in low cognitive and behavioral units with an estimated caseload of 50 students receiving direct therapy and an additional 10 with consultation needs. The school boasts an enthusiastic new principal and a welcoming atmosphere.
At Prine Elementary, you’ll join a dynamic therapy team, including a seasoned SLP and a talented part-time SLPA. Your caseload will support a range of programs, such as intensive and integrated Pre-K, autism spectrum disorder classes, and low cognitive classes, reaching approximately 95 students alongside your colleagues.
Ideal candidates bring:
- A current Florida SLP license (CCC or CFY accepted)
- Previous experience in school-based SLP roles is preferred, though not required
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
- Commitment to fostering inclusivity and meeting diverse student needs
- Ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary school teams
Key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting assessments, developing and implementing IEPs, and providing direct and consultative therapy
- Monitoring student progress and documenting outcomes
- Engaging with staff, parents, and other professionals to ensure holistic support for every learner
