Qualifications:
- Active Nevada Department of Education (DOE) Certification is required.
- Current and valid Nevada SLP Licensure.
- Experience working with children and adolescents in school settings, from grades K-12.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with educators, students, and families.
- Dedication to fostering positive student outcomes in both individual and group settings.
- Ability to adapt to various learning needs and deliver evidence-based interventions onsite.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language assessments, diagnoses, and therapy for students across all elementary, middle, and high school levels.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Track student progress and maintain thorough, timely documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines.
- Consult regularly with teachers, faculty, and parents to maximize student support and success.
- Participate actively in meetings, trainings, and professional development sessions to remain current on best practices.
