Qualifications:
- Active and current Nevada (NV) Speech-Language Pathologist license (required)
- Previous school-based SLP experience strongly preferred
- Experience working with K-12 students (elementary, middle, and high school)
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to diverse student needs
- Organization and documentation proficiency
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to students, addressing a range of communication needs
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to develop and implement IEP goals and treatment plans
- Conduct assessments and screenings to identify students requiring speech or language intervention
- Maintain accurate and timely records of evaluations, progress, and service delivery
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute professional insights to student support teams
- Deliver therapy in both individual and group settings according to students’ needs
- Support educational staff through consultation and resources related to speech and language development
