Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Nevada Speech-Language Pathologist license required
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Familiarity with K-12 student needs and diverse backgrounds
- Strong assessment, intervention, and case management abilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to adapt to various age groups, from elementary through high school
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication challenges
- Deliver direct and indirect therapy services according to student IEPs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student goals
- Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team-based decision making
- Offer resources and strategies to teachers and families for classroom and at-home support
