As a travel SLP, you’ll immerse yourself in new school environments, expanding your professional toolkit through exposure to diverse caseloads, innovative approaches, and collaborative leadership. This flexible 0.5 FTE role spans the entire school year and encourages balance between professional growth and personal adventure.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current Speech Language Pathologist license for Washington or eligibility to obtain.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required.
  • Previous school-based experience preferred.
  • Ability to mentor and oversee the work of an SLPA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of approximately 30 students.
  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations.
  • Develop and write IEPs tailored to student needs.
  • Supervise and provide guidance to an assigned SLPA.
  • Collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families.
