Speech Language Pathologist in Bloomington, IL
Step into an impactful role supporting PreK-5th grade students as a remote Speech-Language Pathologist. This full-time, contract opportunity calls for a skilled, compassionate clinician ready to deliver high-quality speech therapy and evaluations via teletherapy. Serving approximately 20-25 students, you'll play a vital part in their communication and academic success through engaging, individualized sessions.
Your bilingual fluency in Spanish is essential, enabling you to connect deeply within a diverse school community and help students thrive. Using a virtual platform, you’ll collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists, developing and implementing tailored interventions that support each student’s unique needs.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and current state licensure
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Knowledge of virtual service delivery platforms and teletherapy best practices
- Skilled in conducting assessments, writing reports, and developing IEP goals
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services virtually to students in grades PreK-5
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations, including bilingual assessments
- Create, review, and update individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain thorough documentation and timely progress reports
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families
- Participate in meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
