Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Big Lake, Minnesota
Make a meaningful impact in education as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist supporting elementary students. This contract opportunity offers you the chance to work 40 hours a week across five days in a welcoming school environment near Big Lake, MN. You’ll manage a single elementary caseload, collaborating with educators and families to foster improved communication skills in children.
Your background in school-based SLP services—whether you’re fully licensed with CCCs, a Clinical Fellow (CFY), or experienced in pediatric settings—will be highly valued. Your expertise will directly contribute to helping students reach their academic and social potential.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Current MN SLP License required
- Experience with schools, pediatric settings, or elementary age groups
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) highly preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFY) welcome to apply
- Strong skills in student evaluations, developing and implementing IEPs
- Ability to provide both small group and individual therapy services
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills with teams and families
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive student speech and language evaluations
- Lead and participate in IEP meetings and contribute to developing goals
- Deliver targeted speech therapy services in both group and individual formats
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress notes
- Communicate and collaborate with students, families, staff, and administrators
