Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current or pending Illinois SLP licensure
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or pursuing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting strongly preferred
- Middle school caseload experience is a plus
- Bilingual in English and Spanish highly desirable
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and identify speech, language, and communication needs of middle school students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans within the school environment
- Provide direct therapy and monitor progress across the school year
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families about students’ needs and progress
- Document services in alignment with IEPs and school policies
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise on speech-language development
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive school culture
