Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Berwyn, IL

Desired Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences
- Active state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- Possession of SLP-CCC or eligibility for SLP-CFY supervision
- Experience in school settings, ideally with middle school students
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and colleagues
- Bilingual abilities (highly preferred)
- Understanding of diverse cultural backgrounds and educational needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in middle school-aged students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student goals
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to foster student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, IEP meetings, and student sessions
- Provide education and resources to parents and staff regarding speech and language development
- Adapt and modify interventions to support cultural and linguistic diversity
