As a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), your expertise will support students in reaching critical milestones in communication, social skills, and academic success. This contract position is full-time, offering 32.5 hours per week (8 am–3 pm with a half-hour unpaid lunch) and provides an invaluable opportunity to collaborate with a passionate multidisciplinary team.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Prior experience within school settings, particularly with adaptive or behavior-based programs
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Familiarity and comfort working with individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Compassion and commitment to fostering student growth
Role Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop tailored treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
- Implement evidence-based interventions within the ABLE program
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, sharing progress and recommendations
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and behavioral specialists to support student success
- Track progress and maintain detailed records using school-approved systems
- Provide support, resources, and training for staff and families to reinforce strategies
