Key Qualifications:
- Current and valid Speech-Language Pathology license in Virginia
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Previous experience working in a school-based environment or with school-aged children strongly preferred
- Capable of conducting both individual and group therapy sessions
- Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students onsite
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine individual student needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEPs
- Work collaboratively with teachers, special education staff, administrators, and families
- Maintain thorough records and monitor student progress
- Engage in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
- Stay updated on best practices and participate in ongoing professional development
