Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Belvidere, IL

The role begins December 12, 2026, and extends through March 12, 2027, with a weekly commitment of 37.5 hours.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure or eligibility as an SLP or Clinical Fellow (CFY)
- Experience supporting elementary school-aged children
- AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) knowledge required
- Background working in school settings highly desirable
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language services for students, focusing on those with Autism
- Conduct assessments utilizing up-to-date equipment and standardized testing materials
- Implement individualized therapeutic interventions in collaboration with special education staff
- Document progress, participate in IEP meetings, and communicate with families and stakeholders
- Utilize available professional resources and participate in process improvement initiatives
- Meet regularly with your supervisor and take part in monthly team and roundtable meetings
- Engage in region-wide collaboration through our intranet, connecting with SLP peers
