Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – School-Based Opportunity
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students in a school-based setting. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced clinicians as well as Clinical Fellows (CFY-SLPs) looking to begin their careers in a supportive educational environment.
Position Details
• Schedule: 7.75-hour workday
• Lunch: 30-minute duty-free lunch
• Student Population: Primarily Pre-K through 5th Grade
• Maximum Caseload: 55 students
• Setting: School-Based
Qualifications
We welcome candidates with the following backgrounds:
• SLP – School-Based Experience
• CFY-SLP (Clinical Fellowship Year)
• SLP – Pediatrics
• SLP – Healthcare
• SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
Responsibilities
• Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide direct and indirect therapy services to students.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Participate in IEP meetings and maintain required documentation.
• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed.
Ideal Candidate
• Holds or is eligible for state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Passionate about helping students achieve communication success.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Experience working with pediatric populations is preferred but not required.
