Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Bel Air, Maryland
A public school setting is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to provide direct, onsite services to students. Qualifications & Experience
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) held for at least one year
- Active professional license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Minimum of 10 hours weekly availability
- At least 1 year of IEP experience in a school or similar setting
- Experience in pediatric and school-based therapy, including CFY applicants
- Self-driven, positive attitude, and commitment to student progress
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with other professionals
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Technologically proficient and able to adapt to new software, paperwork platforms, and troubleshooting basic tech issues
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality speech-language therapy to students onsite
- Manage and maintain a student caseload, ensuring all services are provided with compassion and precision
- Contribute to the development, implementation, and monitoring of IEPs
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including teachers, staff, and families
- Complete digital documentation accurately and efficiently
