Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in California (or eligibility to obtain before start)
- Experience working with pediatric and school-based populations, including early childhood and elementary
- Familiarity with diverse caseloads, Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and various communication disorders
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive, and growth-oriented learning environment
- Open to both local applicants and those seeking travel assignments
Role Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to maximize students’ growth and participation in the classroom
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and legal requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, sharing expertise to guide best practices for student achievement
