Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state-issued Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Current SLP Educator Certificate
- Active IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Prior experience in school-based settings and preschool/early intervention strongly preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to preschool-aged children within a public school setting
- Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and maintain thorough documentation
- Support Child Find responsibilities, including assessment and eligibility determinations
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student outcomes
- Adapt service delivery based on varied caseloads and evolving student needs
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and district regulations
