Qualifications:
- Hold a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist, or eligibility to obtain it
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status required
- Experience or strong interest in working with school-aged pediatric populations
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on assessment results and IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and family members to maximize student outcomes
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of evaluations, therapy sessions, and progress reports
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
- Participate in ongoing professional development and school-based initiatives
