Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Jbsa Lackland, TX

Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year candidates considered
- Active state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Previous school-based experience preferred, but not required
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills
- Compassionate approach to supporting children with speech, language, and communication needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in K-12 students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
- Provide both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices
- Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Educate and consult with teachers and parents on strategies to support communication development
- Engage in professional development and stay current with best practices in the field
