Speech Language Pathologist in San Antonio, TX

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Active SLP license in the state of Texas (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply
- Previous experience working with school-aged children is highly valued
- Strong communication skills for interaction with students, staff, and families
- Dedication to individualized care and eagerness to be involved in IEP processes
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
- Deliver therapy sessions, both individually and in small groups, following evidence-based practices
- Maintain accurate records on student evaluation, progress, and therapy outcomes
- Collaborate with teachers, intervention teams, and families to support student goals and overall development
- Participate actively in IEP meetings to contribute expertise and advocate for student needs
- Educate school faculty and families in best strategies for supporting students’ communication growth
