- Prior experience in school settings is highly valued
- Familiarity with IEP development and educational documentation
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with students, families, and staff
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in school-aged children
- Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and monitor student goals
- Collaborate regularly with teachers, special educators, and families to support student progress
- Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions tailored to a range of communication needs
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute expertise to program planning
