Required Qualifications:
- Current SLP licensure and active Colorado Department of Education certification
- Preference for SLP-CCC, but strong Clinical Fellow (SLP-CF) candidates will also be considered
- Experience or coursework in school-based settings
- Familiarity with IEP process, documentation, and implementation
- Ability to perform comprehensive speech and language assessments, develop goals, and provide direct service
- Experience monitoring progress toward measurable student goals
- Willingness to mentor or provide guidance to SLPAs if needed
- ELL training and/or ESL or Linguistically Diverse Education Endorsement (LDE) highly valued
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy within an intensive preschool classroom
- Collaborate with educators and service providers to support individualized learning plans
- Assess, plan, and implement therapy interventions based on current student IEPs
- Monitor student progress and maintain timely, organized records
- Participate in IEP meetings and communicate with families as necessary
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive classroom environment
