School Speech Language Pathologist - Arvada, CO

Two contract Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) are sought for a year-long assignment, providing on-site support at Riverdale Elementary and Stem Launch K-8 near Arvada, CO. The position spans a full academic year from July 27, 2026, through May 21, 2027, with a commitment of 37.5 hours each week, working closely within K-8 schools—including an intensive pre-school classroom at Riverdale Elementary.
Preferred candidates bring hands-on experience in early childhood (pre-K) and school-based settings, and will demonstrate confidence in assessment, direct services, and tracking student progress toward measurable IEP goals and objectives. Experience or training in serving English Language Learners (ELL) or holding an ESL/LDE endorsement is highly valued.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current SLP licensure and active Colorado Department of Education (CO DOE) certification
- SLP-CCC or SLP-CF considered
- Background in IEP writing, service delivery, and assessments in a school context
- Preferred: experience with early childhood/pre-K and working with ELL students or holding ESL/LDE endorsement
- Ability to supervise SLPAs as needed
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language assessment and intervention to pre-K through 8th grade students
- Develop and implement IEPs and monitor individual progress
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to maximize student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
- Offer supervision and mentorship to SLPAs as needed
