Key Qualifications:
- Valid, current SLP license issued within the state.
- Master’s degree in Speech and Language Pathology.
- Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates or those holding CCCs are welcome.
- School-based experience is preferred but not required.
- Pediatric and teletherapy skills are advantageous.
- Dedication to fostering communication growth in young students.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language services to a caseload of elementary students (5th and 6th grades).
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Conduct evaluations and maintain detailed progress documentation.
- Utilize engaging therapy techniques tailored for pediatric populations.
- Support students in both in-person and teletherapy formats as appropriate.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a positive, collaborative school culture.
