Pediatric Clinical Fellow Speech Language Pathologist in Independence, MO

Desired Qualifications:
- Current valid in-state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Master’s Degree in Speech and Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Clinical Fellowship (CFY), Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), and/or SLP Healthcare/Pediatric experience welcomed
- Previous experience in a school environment is preferred
- Proficiency in teletherapy tools and best practices is an asset
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for assigned elementary students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to track progress and optimize outcomes
- Provide engaging therapy sessions both in-person and via teletherapy as needed
- Maintain detailed records, documentation, and progress updates in compliance with local and federal regulations
- Deliver guidance and support to families and staff regarding speech and language development
