Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Auburn, WA

A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist who enjoys working onsite and thrives within a supportive environment. The assignment runs from September 2, 2026, through February 15, 2027, supporting a caseload of approximately 40 elementary students.
This role focuses on direct therapy, evaluations, and collaboration with teachers, counselors, and families. You’ll serve students in a building that’s home to a dedicated behavior program, offering you the chance to partner closely with staff to help students succeed. Importantly, this caseload does not currently include students requiring AAC devices or those with medically fragile needs.
Key Qualifications:
- Active (or eligibility for) Washington State SLP license, with fingerprint clearance through OSPI
- Washington State ESA certification (or willingness to obtain)
- SLP-CCC credential or eligible
- School-based experience strongly preferred
- Comfort with on-site only service—telepractice is not part of this role
- Commitment to working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary school team
In this position, you can expect to:
- Provide high-quality speech and language services to a diverse elementary caseload
- Support the school’s behavior program with communication strategies
- Complete assessments and develop IEP goals
- Communicate regularly and effectively with families and school staff
- Maintain detailed, compliant documentation on student progress
- Work approximately 32.5 hours per week in a consistent schedule
