The SLP will manage a caseload of approximately 40 students, with no current AAC or medically fragile needs. However, the role includes collaborating with the school’s established behavior program. Qualifications:
- Active Washington State SLP licensure, or willingness to obtain prior to start
- SLP-CCC credential required
- Washington ESA certification, or ability to secure before assignment begins
- Ability to pass fingerprinting via OSPI
- Experience in school-based settings or with pediatric caseloads is highly valued
- Flexibility to support students participating in behavior programs
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, intervention, and therapy services for approximately 40 elementary students
- Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff on the site’s behavior program
- Track progress, document sessions, and maintain compliance with school and state standards
- Communicate regularly with families and the educational team regarding student progress
