This temporary assignment runs from September 2, 2026, through February 15, 2027, and provides a fantastic opportunity to deepen your expertise in a school-based setting. With a manageable caseload of about 40 students, you’ll gain valuable insight from seasoned educators and broaden your resume with sought-after experience in contemporary communication interventions and collaboration with behavioral support programs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current (or eligibility to obtain) Washington State SLP licensure and WA ESA certification
  • Experience working in school settings, especially elementary age
  • Solid understanding of IEP development and implementation
  • Must complete fingerprinting through OSPI if not already done
  • SLP-CCC preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy to K–5 students
  • Partner with school teams to support the school’s behavioral program
  • Conduct assessments, develop and implement IEP goals, and track progress
  • Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and other stakeholders
  • Maintain documentation in accordance with state and district guidelines
