School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Auburn, Washington

This 0.5 FTE position involves serving approximately 30 students, allowing for a focused caseload and meaningful impact. Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure for speech-language pathology (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience in a school setting strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of the IEP process and best practices in evaluation and intervention
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Experience supervising or mentoring SLPA staff is desirable
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students across grade levels
- Develop, write, and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Deliver direct therapy services in line with IEP goals
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and specialists to support student progress
- Supervise, mentor, and provide guidance for an SLPA to ensure high-quality service delivery
- Maintain thorough documentation, data collection, and ongoing progress reports
