Your assignment begins August 17, 2026, and continues through June 10, 2027, with potential for minor adjustments related to the district’s schedule. There are multiple openings available, allowing you to collaborate with peers and expand your professional network. If a slightly higher caseload arises, the district may request a waiver to accommodate a few additional students.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Hold a current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Eligible for West Virginia licensure
- Previous school-based experience preferred, but energetic new graduates are also encouraged to apply
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Adaptability to support students at multiple sites as needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized plans for students requiring speech/language services
- Deliver therapy sessions and monitor progress toward goals
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary partners
- Document services and maintain data for compliance
