Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Valid SLP-CCC required
- Eligible for or holding state licensure for SLP in Virginia
- Comfortable with school-based and virtual (teletherapy) service delivery models
- Previous experience serving school-age children preferred
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver direct and consultative SLP services onsite or via teletherapy
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and progress notes per school guidelines
- Engage in IEP meetings and provide expertise in communication disorders
