Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CF candidates will be considered
- Prior experience in school settings—or willingness to quickly adapt to the school environment
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Familiarity with IEP development and progress monitoring
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language screenings, evaluations, and therapy to students in compliance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Develop tailored intervention plans to address students’ unique speech, language, and communication needs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, administrators, and families to support student progress
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation of treatment, progress, and compliance
- Offer training and consultative support to teachers and classroom staff on strategies for communication development
- Actively participate in IEP meetings and help facilitate inclusive learning environments
