On this assignment, multiple SLPs and SLPAs will have the chance to work full-time or part-time, providing support to 1st through 12th-grade students in special day classrooms. Gaining exposure to various workplace practices and leadership approaches, you’ll be empowered to learn, collaborate, and build lasting connections with diverse colleagues and students.
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP License (CCC or CFY) or SLPA license
- Experience in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred
- Dedicated to providing direct, in-person support
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Professional Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted speech and language therapy to students, 1st–12th grades, in special day classrooms
- Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to develop and implement individualized education plans
- Document progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed
- Uphold ethical and professional standards while fostering a supportive learning environment
