Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current state licensure for practice as an SLP
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Previous experience in school settings is a plus
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
  • Develop personalized intervention plans for students in collaboration with teachers, families, and other specialists
  • Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, progress reports, and treatment outcomes
  • Work closely with educators to support the academic and social success of students
  • Offer support, resources, and training to staff and parents as needed
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational goals
  • Stay current with best practices in the field and integrate them into daily therapy
