Key Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current state licensure for practice as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience in school settings is a plus
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
- Develop personalized intervention plans for students in collaboration with teachers, families, and other specialists
- Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, progress reports, and treatment outcomes
- Work closely with educators to support the academic and social success of students
- Offer support, resources, and training to staff and parents as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational goals
- Stay current with best practices in the field and integrate them into daily therapy
