Assignment Details:

  • Dates: June 8th – July 2nd
    • June 8th: 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
    • June 9th – July 2nd: 8:00 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.
  • Manage a manageable caseload of approximately 15 students
  • Contract position for the duration of the assignment

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Valid state SLP license and certification to practice in a school setting
  • Prior experience in school-based therapy or with pediatric populations preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborative mindset to work with teachers, families, and other professionals

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to students per their IEP goals
  • Assess, diagnose, and document communication disorders
  • Maintain thorough, up-to-date case documentation and progress reports
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to ensure student success
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning
