Assignment Details:
- Dates: June 8th – July 2nd
- June 8th: 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
- June 9th – July 2nd: 8:00 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.
- Manage a manageable caseload of approximately 15 students
- Contract position for the duration of the assignment
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Valid state SLP license and certification to practice in a school setting
- Prior experience in school-based therapy or with pediatric populations preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborative mindset to work with teachers, families, and other professionals
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students per their IEP goals
- Assess, diagnose, and document communication disorders
- Maintain thorough, up-to-date case documentation and progress reports
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to ensure student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning
