A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Arlington Heights, IL, supporting students from kindergarten through 5th grade. This contract position offers 35.5 hours per week starting February 1st, with the possibility of extension through the 2026/2027 school year.

In this role, you will work with a caseload of approximately 30 students, providing essential speech and language therapy services that support their academic and social development. The ideal candidate is an experienced SLP passionate about fostering communication skills in young learners within a school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, and deliver individualized speech-language therapy to K-5 students.
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress.
  • Document and maintain accurate records of student evaluations and therapy sessions.
  • Participate in meetings and contribute to individualized education program (IEP) development.
  • Monitor and report student progress regularly.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Valid SLP certification/license specific to school settings.
  • Experience working with children in kindergarten through 5th grade.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
