Speech Therapist in Grambling, LA

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current Louisiana SLP license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
- Previous experience in school-based settings or with early intervention populations (ages 3–4) highly desirable
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Enthusiasm for working with young children and supporting families
Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based speech-language services to children ages 3–4 as part of an early interventionist team
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and develop individualized goals
- Create and implement tailored therapy plans
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute to team decision-making
Position Details:
- Approximately 4 hours per day, 4 days each week
- Contract dates: early August 2026 through late May 2027 (subject to slight change)
- Onsite role providing direct services within a school-based setting
