Seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide support in an elementary school setting during a maternity leave. This contract opportunity starts October 1st and continues through February 1st. The position offers a consistent weekly schedule, totaling 32.5 hours across five days each week. Desired Qualifications:
- Valid SLPA licensure in California
- Recent hands-on experience in a school setting, specifically with moderate/severe caseloads
- Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation

- Ability to adapt techniques to a range of developmental and adaptive needs
- Positive attitude and commitment to student progress
Role Responsibilities:
- Support the onsite Speech-Language Pathologist in delivering therapy services
- Implement therapy plans in both group and individual settings
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
- Assist with screenings, assessments, and progress monitoring as needed
- Foster an inclusive, supportive learning environment for all students
