Remote Speech Language Pathologist - Georgia

Position Overview
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP-CCC) to deliver high-quality remote speech and language services to students across the greater Atlanta, Georgia area for the upcoming school year.
This role offers clinicians the autonomy of working remotely while collaborating closely with on-site school teams. Working alongside district paraprofessionals, special education staff, and classroom educators, you will provide interactive telepractice therapy and evaluations to ensure Atlanta-area students meet their communication and academic benchmarks.
Key Responsibilities
Direct Telepractice Intervention: Deliver engaging individual and small-group virtual therapy targeting articulation, language processing, fluency, pragmatic communication, and augmentative/alternative communication (AAC).
Evaluations & Eligibility: Conduct standardized virtual evaluations, interpret diagnostic data, and write compliant IEP goals in accordance with Georgia Department of Education (GaDOE) special education guidelines.
IEP Team Participation: Lead and participate in virtual IEP and eligibility meetings with parents, general education teachers, and interdisciplinary service teams.
Facilitator Collaboration: Coordinate with on-site teletherapy facilitators, classroom aides, and administrative personnel to maintain consistent student scheduling, session focus, and classroom carryover.
Case Management & Compliance: Maintain thorough, up-to-date therapy notes, Medicaid billing records, and IEP documentation within district management platforms (such as GO-IEP).

Typical Caseload Sizes: Balanced, manageable student rosters (typically averaging 40–45 students depending on FTE and specific district assignment).

Qualifications
Education: Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders from an accredited program.
Licensure:
Active Georgia Speech-Language Pathologist license issued by the Georgia Board of Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology.
Valid (or eligible to obtain) Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC) certification in Speech-Language Pathology.
Certifications: Certificate of Clinical Competence (ASHA CCC-SLP) required.
Experience & Skills:
Prior school-based or pediatric clinical experience preferred.
Comfort navigating telepractice software, web-based assessment protocols, and electronic IEP platforms.
