Key Qualifications:
- Active Georgia SLP license and Georgia Educator Certificate required
- Open to Clinical Fellows—supervision available
- School-based SLP experience, especially with ASD and severe/profound caseloads, is highly valued
- Comfortable delivering therapy onsite (not virtual/VOCO)
- Strong collaboration and communication skills for IEP meetings and team coordination
- Dedicated to professional growth and student success
- Reliable transportation needed for onsite presence
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy for students in K–5 ASD and severe/profound classrooms
- Participate in IEP development and meetings, collaborating with educators and families
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
- Complete Medicaid billing and associated documentation in an accurate and timely manner
- Foster a supportive, inclusive learning environment for all students
- Stay current with best practices in school-based speech therapy
This role offers flexibility—full-time hours up to 37.5 per week are available for the current school year, and there is potential to continue into 2025–2026. Part-time schedules may also be considered.
