This contract role focuses on providing essential services for students in ASD and Severe/Profound classrooms across grades K–5, in a collaborative, student-centered school environment. Work closely with educators and families, helping students achieve their communication goals while supporting their overall academic growth.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Georgia SLP licensure required
- Active Georgia Educator Certificate required
- Clinical Fellows are welcome to apply
- Previous experience in school-based settings or with ASD/Severe caseloads is highly valued
- Onsite services only; this is not a remote position
- Reliable transportation to and from the school site
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students in K–5 ASD and Severe/Profound classrooms
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Conduct progress monitoring and submit timely updates on student achievement
- Collaborate with educational staff and families to support student goals
- Complete accurate Medicaid billing as required by the district
- Remain adaptable to evolving schedules and caseloads throughout the academic year
Position Details:
- Contract, onsite role in Habersham, GA
- Full-time schedule up to 37.5 hours/week, will consider part-time candidates
- Available for immediate start through the end of the school year, with extension possible for 2025–2026
