Step into a fulfilling school-based role where you’ll support and empower students from Kindergarten through fifth grade with speech-language needs—especially those in ASD and severe/profound classrooms. This full-time, onsite contract opportunity begins ASAP and continues through the end of the current school year, with options to extend into 2025–2026. Your expertise in speech-language pathology will directly impact students’ growth, communication abilities, and confidence within the classroom. Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, participate actively in IEP meetings, and contribute to data-driven progress monitoring, making a real difference in the lives of children and their families.
What we’re seeking:
- Active Georgia SLP licensure and Georgia Educator Certificate required
- Clinical Fellows (CFs) encouraged to apply—mentorship and support available
- Previous school-based experience preferred, but new grads with a strong passion for pediatrics will also be considered
- Background working with ASD and severe/profound populations is a plus
- Ability to work onsite; virtual-only candidates will not be considered for this role
- Reliable transportation to and from the school site
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group speech therapy to K–5 students in ASD and severe/profound classrooms
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers and families
- Conduct ongoing progress monitoring and Medicaid billing as needed
- Maintain clear case records and communicate effectively within the school setting
