Step into a rewarding school-based opportunity supporting students’ communication needs in a dynamic educational setting. We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to deliver personalized speech therapy services within Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Severe/Profound classrooms, serving elementary-aged learners (Grades K–5). This full-time contract role is available immediately through the end of the school year, with the option to continue for the 2025–2026 academic year. Part-time applicants are welcomed and encouraged to express interest. All services for this role are onsite at a supportive school community.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Georgia Speech-Language Pathologist licensure required
- Valid Georgia Educator Certificate
- Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply
- Experience in school-based settings, particularly with elementary students preferred
- Prior work with ASD and Severe/Profound classroom populations is highly valued
- Capable of participating in IEP meetings and completing Medicaid billing
- Must have reliable transportation to the campus location
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide targeted speech-language therapy for students, supporting individualized communication goals
- Conduct ongoing progress monitoring and maintain accurate documentation
- Actively participate in IEP development and review meetings
- Collaborate with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure integrated support
- Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and adhere to best practices in school-based therapy
This contract offers up to 37.5 hours per week, with flexibility for qualified part-time candidates. The interview format will be determined following application.
