School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Cleveland, Georgia

This contract position places you in an onsite role serving K–5 students in ASD and Severe/Profound classrooms for the remainder of this school year—and potentially into the next (2025–2026). Located near the scenic Habersham, GA region, you’ll have a chance to make a direct impact in students’ daily lives.
Your primary responsibility will be providing direct speech-language therapy services to students, collaborating with teachers and staff, and participating in IEP meetings. You’ll also play a crucial part in progress monitoring and Medicaid billing, ensuring students receive comprehensive support.
Qualifications & Skills
- Active Georgia SLP licensure required
- Current Georgia Educator Certificate required
- Open to Clinical Fellows (CFs)
- Previous experience working with school-based populations preferred
- Background in ASD and/or experience with severe/profound classroom caseloads strongly valued
- Must be able to work onsite; virtual/hybrid roles are not available
- Reliable transportation required
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver speech-language therapy for K–5 students in specialized settings
- Engage in the IEP process, contributing insights and recommendations
- Maintain thorough progress notes for each student
- Complete Medicaid billing documentation accurately and promptly
- Foster positive relationships with colleagues and families to support student growth
