Qualifications and Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current state licensure and ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) or eligibility
- Experience supporting children in preschool through adolescent age ranges
- Background in evaluation, development, and implementation of IEPs
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, especially with educators and families
- Experience in school settings or comparable pediatric populations is highly desirable
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
- Design and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with educational goals
- Deliver direct and consultative services in classroom and individual settings
- Document student progress, maintain records, and contribute to IEP meetings
- Work alongside teachers, special educators, and support staff to foster student success
- Offer education and resources to staff and families regarding speech and language development
- Stay informed on best practices and participate in ongoing professional development
