You’ll provide assessment, intervention, and collaboration for a diverse caseload, benefiting from a supportive school staff and access to ongoing professional resources. Both SLPs holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and Clinical Fellows (CFY) are encouraged to apply, as mentorship and guidance are available.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure for SLP or eligibility to obtain before the school year begins
- CCC-SLP credential, or SLP-CFY candidates with relevant clinical rotations accepted
- Experience supporting elementary school-aged children preferred, but new graduates welcome
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration abilities
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy to elementary caseload
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Accurately maintain required documentation in compliance with school and legal standards
- Consult and collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists
- Participate in IEP meetings and school-based professional teams
- Maintain open communication with students, families, and school representatives
