Qualifications & Skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current New Mexico SLP license, or eligibility to obtain before start date
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required or in progress
- Previous experience in schools or pediatric settings is a plus, but not required
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Compassion and enthusiasm for fostering student growth and learning
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech and language therapy services to K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies
