Speech Language Pathologist in Albany, NY

Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP
- Experience in school settings preferred
- Comfortable working with early childhood and elementary students, especially those who are non-verbal and/or have developmental delays
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, support staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Document progress and participate in the preparation of IEPs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Provide guidance and education to staff and families regarding communication strategies
- Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and district policies
